Workforce Voices is here to support people working in health and care – especially in places where recruitment and retention are most challenging.
Our research focuses on identifying what helps (and what hinders) staff to stay and thrive in their roles. Whether it’s improving induction for new team members, creating space for better supervision, or supporting staff wellbeing, our work is about creating practical change that can make a real difference.
What’s in it for staff?
- A chance to influence research that directly affects your working life
- Opportunities to take part in co-design workshops, surveys, or focus groups
- Access to tailored research findings, tools, and resources developed with staff
- Recognition for your contributions—whether through authorship, presenting at events, or being part of change-making conversations
Staff who get involved will help shape the future of workforce sustainability in the NHS and beyond.
We’ll be producing a range of outputs over the coming years, including:
- Actionable reports for employers and system leaders
- Creative materials (e.g., videos, infographics) aimed at improving day-to-day working lives
- Opportunities to feed into new policies and practices at a local and national level
