Ishbel McCallum is a Research Administrator working with Newcastle University to monitor progress against milestones, maintain Partnership records and facilitate regular meetings.
She has worked in administration for an NHS Trust, providing customer service and coordination of temporary (bank) shifts for clinical and non-clinical frontline staff. Most recently she has worked in administration for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), supporting the committee process to evaluate medicines on their cost and clinical effectiveness. By observing healthcare administration at local and national levels, she has developed a focus on how healthcare can expose and reduce inequalities.
