Bryan Burford is a senior lecturer in the School of Medicine at Newcastle University, and is the joint lead of Workforce Voices.
Bryan originally worked as a researcher in psychology, but his interest and expertise in workforce research has developed in over 20 years of research in clinical education. He has led research into the education, training, and career development of doctors, dentists and other healthcare professions, both regionally across the North East and North Cumbria, and nationally, in research commissioned by the General Medical Council and General Dental Council.
He is experienced as a mixed methods researcher, and will be contributing to several workstreams across the partnership’s projects, as well as having an overall lead role.
